What many fail to realize is that a racist doesn’t necessarily hate EVERY race aside from their own… Often times racists are “selective racists” (meaning that they embody an extreme hatred, or fear, of one particular ethnicity, while retaining neutrality in regards to their feelings of other ethnicities).
I consider “selective racists” to be the most dangerous types of racists because they often are not perceived as being prejudiced at all by those they feel “neutral” towards…a perception which inadvertently aids in the selective racist’s social & professional advancement… which may ultimately result in securing a position where they can execute their racist agenda more effectively against the race they seek to oppress, harm or destroy.
I believe both Hulk Hogan and Tito Ortiz to be “selective racists” who share a deeply rooted disdain of Blacks / African-Americans. The words of Hulk Hogan’s racist (and elitist) rant clearly illustrate that he views Blacks and African-American as not being good enough to date his daughter. His mentality, in fact, leads someone such as myself to feel that he believes Blacks / African-Amercians are somehow “sub-human”.
Many Americans view Tito Ortiz, a Mexican man with extremely “ethnic” facial features as being “a person of color”, and many Americans are of the mindset that such a man isn’t capable of being racist towards other “people of color”… Unfortunately, that’s far from the truth.
Racism against Blacks (or anyone with dark skin for that matter) is quite common in the Latin / Hispanic community. In the minds of a high percentage of uneducated, low income Central & South Americans, white skin equates to “success” and “wealth”, whereas dark and/or Black skin equates to “poverty”. A quick glance as Latin American media heavily reflects this mentality, as does Tito Ortiz’s personal relationship history.
It’s highly probably that Ortiz has been very insecure his entire life in regards to his heavily ethnic facial features (which have lead to him being mistaken for Black rather than Mexican on certain occasions). It seems that for quite some time Ortiz has been trying to “whiten up” his life – from bleaching his hair blonde to primarily having relationships (and children) with women who’s looks reflect that of Northern Europeans. Ortiz’s likely insecurity in conjunction with his low income Latin roots appear to have combined to result in his current mindset of distancing himself socially as far from Blacks as possible – a mentality that is complimentary to that of Hulk Hogan’s.
About a week prior to Tito Ortiz voicing his support of Hulk Hogan’s racist rant in regards to Blacks / African-Americans (a rant which has made international news headlines and has ultimately led to the WWE severing ties with Hulk Hogan permanently), I learned first hand, EXACTLY how racist Tito Ortiz and his associates in actuality are…
An avid online supporter, friend and associate of Tito Ortiz – a man by the name of Jay T. Warsh – sent me an unsolicited tweet July 8th, 2015 equating my physical appearance to the maple syrup icon Aunt Jemima. In addition Warsh sent me a tweet which stated “now please get in the kitchen and make us some fluffy pancakes” .
Being that I look nothing like Aunt Jemima aside from my dark brown skin tone, it appears that Warsh feels that all Black women look alike and should be subservient to whites. Considering the frequency in which Tito Ortiz communicates with Warsh publicly on twitter, it appears that Ortiz not only agrees with Warsh’s mindset, but finds it perfectly acceptable as well.
Close inspection of Tito Ortiz’s twitter feed has revealed other signs of Ortiz’s deeply rooted hatred of African-Americans and Blacks in general. For example, the day before Ortiz publicly supported Hulk Hogan, he also posted photographs of what appears to be a Tito Ortiz action figure physically assaulting a Black / African American action figure.
Though Tito Ortiz has the right to hate or dislike any race or ethnic group he wants, his mentality is not one which mainstream media should endorse or promote. A large percentage of Mixed Martial Arts fans are Black / African-American, and an even larger percentage are impressionable minors. Neither demographic should be subjected to Tito Ortiz’s vile hatred.

I wonder how Tito Ortiz would feel if the father of the woman he’s dating said something along the lines of Hulk Hogan’s racist rant (see below) about HIM!
”She is making some real bad decisions now. My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her. The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is [to] sell beach records.” They claim Hogan was mad because a “black billionaire guy” had offered to fund her music career. They then quoted Hogan as saying, “I don’t know if Brooke was fuc*ing the black guy’s son. I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, fuc*ing ni**ers. But then when it comes to nice people and s*it, and whatever.” They claim he later said, “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F*cking n*gger.”
