Attorney General Eric Holder – it’s not too late to make a difference

eric holderMonica Foster commentary: What I personally would like to see Holder do, is investigate and arrest the PORN AGENTS who are involved in the ILLEGAL ESCORT and PROSTITUTION RINGS (sextrafficking) which is the foundation of the Los Angeles porn industry (I’ve illustrated this well on www.pornstarhookeralert.com). I also think Larry Flynt needs to held under a microscope again because as I stated on my most recent MonicaAtHome webcast – his magazine is essentially an illegal escort ring catalogue.  Considering that Rob Black – a pornographer who was arrested for obscenity is stating many of the same points as myself and others have over the years, it’s not too late for Holder to take action.

An anti-pornography group has targeted Attorney General Eric Holder along with a number of websites, organizations and companies in a new online campaign.

Morality in Media announced the launch of its “Dirty Dozen List” webpage on Monday. Holder is number one in the list of “the top 12 facilitators of porn” in the United States.

“Holder’s actions keep the porn industry thriving,” said Patrick A. Trueman, the president of Morality in Media. “He not only refuses to enforce obscenity laws currently on the books that prohibit the distribution of hardcore pornography, but he even disbanded the office charged with enforcement.”

Holder shut down the Justice Department’s Obscenity Prosecution Task Force, a divisioncreated under President George W. Bush in 2005 to crack down on pornography. Justice Department officials said obscenity cases would be handled by the U.S. Attorneys’ offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, as they had been in the past.

Morality in Media has previously targeted Holder for what they describe as a “lack of enforcement of adult pornography laws.” The group wants the prosecution of hardcore pornography to be a priority of the Department of Justice.

The “Dirty Dozen List” also contains the American Library Association and Wikipedia. The former is accused of pressuring libraries into abandoning Internet filters, while the latter allegedly “houses thousands of pornographic images.”
